The Wayne County Foundation is Wayne County, Indiana's community foundation, working to facilitate philanthropic giving and improve the quality of life here. After initially serving as a volunteer on the Foundation's grant-making committee, from 2010 to 2016 I was a member of the Board of Directors, also serving a term as Board Chair during that period. With over $30 million in assets under management at the time, I contributed leadership around strategy development and refinement, community engagement and marketing, program development, fiscal oversight, goal-setting for and evaluation of the Executive Director, and the launch of the Foundation's Challenge Match initiative.
