Organization and Business Consulting
Throughout my career, I've founded, managed or led a variety of for-profit and not-for-profit organizations and teams, both in the technology sector and beyond. I've done consulting on messaging, strategy, communications, team development and related topics. I've worked with influential people and brands across the U.S. and around the world to further their mission and ensure great results. I provide observations, insights and recommendations to help build forward motion.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I focused in particular on helping organizations develop their remote/distributed work capacity.
Startup Investing and Mentoring
As an entrepreneur and founder myself, I know the value of having support and counsel from others as a new business or technology launches into the world. I'm fortunate to now be in a position where I can apply what I've learned to help others, through mentoring and investing in new startup companies.
If you have an innovative idea as a part of an early-stage business in the web application, information technology and/or social good spaces and you are looking for funding and support, I would be glad to hear from you. I'm especially interested in supporting efforts originating in the Midwestern U.S., and efforts owned or led by women and minorities historically under-represented in these fields.

WordPress Development and Consulting
I have historically been available for a few limited engagements each month to provide paid expert-level advice, plugin/theme development and troubleshooting services for WordPress sites and projects. I focus on projects related to security issues, performance optimization, complex migrations, tool-building or automation, architecture simplification, and organizations with a high-profile/high-traffic online presence.
